By air
Arrival from Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) or Brussels South (Charleroi) Airport

By train to Namur Station
There are train connections from Brussels Airport Station to Namur/Namen Station, via Brussels North Station and from Charleroi South Station to Namur Station. Visit the website of the Belgium railways ( for detailed travel information and plan your journey.

If you arrive at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem), you can easily reach the train station after exiting the customs: take a rolling staircase at your left and go down to the train station.

Take any train in direction of Brussels. Change at Brussels North for a train to Namur/Namen. There are 3 trains per hour, the schedule repeats hourly until 23h. The fare is about 16 € for a single ticket.

If you are arriving from Charleroi airport. At the Ryanair counter in Charleroi airport you can buy a ticket valid for any Belgian destination for about 11 €. This ticket covers a journey in a TEC bus (from the airport to Charleroi-Sud train station) and a train journey (from Charleroi-Sud to any station in Belgium).

If you are going to Charleroi airport, ask a special ticket (Charleroi south airport) at the train station of Namur. With this ticket, you can take the train to Charleroi-Sud station and then the TEC bus (line A – platform 2) from the station to the airport (Gosselies).

From Namur train Station to Palais des Congrès
Public transport : From Place de la Station - Buses 5, 8, 11 or 51 (stop rue de l’Ange) stop close to the Place d'Armes.
By Foot (800m): Turn left as you leave the SNCB railway station. Turn right into the Rue de Fer, then straight on into the Rue de l’Ange. Take the 1st street on the left, Rue de Marchovelette, leading to the Place d’Armes alongside INNO.

By car
From the E411 motorway: Exit 14 (Bouge – Expo – CHR), follow signs for Namur and go down the Route de Hannut and Avenue Albert 1er. At the traffic lights, turn left into the Avenue Comte De Smet De Nayer and go straight on for 800m. After the 2nd roundabout, turn right into the Rue Golenvaux. After 50m, you have arrived. The Place d’Armes is on the left (pedestrian zone).

From the E42 motorway: Exit 12 (Namur Ouest), follow signs for Namur. Go straight on for 6 km and go down into Namur. At the end of the Chaussée de Waterloo, follow the “autres directions” sign, passing behind the SNCB railway station. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of Jambes and cross the bridge over the railway. At the Léopold roundabout, take the 4th exit in the direction of Dinant – CHR. At the traffic lights, go straight on along the Avenue Comte De Smet De Nayer for 800m. After the 2nd roundabout, turn right into the Rue Golenvaux. After 50m, you have arrived. The Place d’Armes is on the left (pedestrian zone).

Parking facilities
Namur Palais des Congrès does not have its own car park, but visitors may use the parking facilities available in the city centre: car parks "Beffroi" and "Gifar".

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your registration bag containing the Programme Book and your personal name tag and remember to wear your name tag to all activities and social events!
